Why you believe you are the best choice as a judge?
I am a versatile and accomplished dancer, choreographer and teacher. My repertoire comprises of Indian classical dance – Bharat Natyam, Indian folk dances (garba, raas, bhangra, etc.), Bollywood dances and fusion numbers. I completed my Bharat Natyam Arangetram graduation ceremony in 2001. I have performed and lead dance teams in venues such as the prestigious Fox Theatre and the Atlanta Symphony Hall. During three years of my collegiate career, I single-handedly coordinated the Georgia Tech Holi Show – a premiere Indian cultural event for the college student community of Georgia. I am the 2007 winner of Miss Asian Atlanta Scholarship pageant, where I also won the “Miss Talent” title. Currently, I am a lead dance instructor at the Kruti Dance Academy, one of the most recognized and specialized Indian Dance Academy’s in the South. Additionally, I am a graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial and Systems Engineering and currently work as an IBM consultant.
