damn interesting lineup. first half will go to jalwa, but kamaal and euphorek will give them a good run for their money. second half is a toss-up between BSB and WA, but I'm excited to see what drexel brings out because they've been under the radar this whole year.

my top 3 contenders: WA, BSB, BU jalwa

The show order was picked by random at the mixer.

Show order was decided by lining up a captain from team . After they stood at the table someone shuffled a deck of 8 cards and dealt them to each team. Not going to lie, I'm not a fan of this method. Definitely are better ways to decide show order in a more transparent way.

gonna have to agree with Jake - again with the whole illusion of a random lineup, but not really random at all

I agree with the statements made above. The problem with choosing show order so simply is that there is always a question of whether its actually chosen "at random". There has been a lot of talk that show order could have been rigged. I'm not pointing any fingers and i'm not trying to take away from any team, but it would have been wiser to choose show order through a more transparent manner. At other competitions, I know show order is usually decided through playing various mixer games. Maybe this is something for the organizers to keep in mind if the competition returns next year.

I thought the way BA chose the line up was as fair as it gets. Teams played mixer games and racked up points. At the end, all the board members held up a balloon with a number inside of it. Based on how many points were earned, a representative from each team would choose a balloon, pop it, and the number inside would be revealed. That's how the show order was determined. If this isn't fair either...then there is no other way to truly decide a fair way to chose the line-up.

Regardless, everyone keeps debating that show order does not matter (even though I disagree 100%). If show order does not matter, then the way the show order is chosen should not matter either. I feel like when choosing show order, it should be as random as picking out of a hat or popping balloons like at BA or anything along those lines. That is as fair as you're going to get.
